Why Is Gaziantep Pistachio the World's Best?
The unique climate, soil composition, and centuries-old cultivation tradition of Gaziantep elevate Antep pistachio above global standards.
Most products on supermarket shelves labelled "pistachio cream" contain surprisingly little actual pistachio. So what does real pistachio cream look like?
The pistachio content of a cream directly affects both its flavour and nutritional value. The difference between a cream with 5% pistachio and one with 30% is immediately noticeable when you taste it.
At Pistachiantep, all our creams contain a minimum of 30% real Antep pistachio. In our pistachio paste this rises to 70%, and in our pistachio puree to 100%.
The process works like this:
• Harvest: Fresh pistachios collected from our own orchards
• Sorting: Every nut passes individual quality control
• Processing: Low-temperature processing preserves the aroma
• Blending: Pistachio ratio is precisely calibrated
When buying a pistachio cream, read the ingredients list. Is there real pistachio in it — and how much? This simple question will save you from many disappointments.
